LUXURY BOUTIQUE HAND PAINTED WALLPAPER AND FABRIC FOR INTERIORS
Witch and Watchman is a home textiles and wallpaper company based in Los Angeles, California. Witch and Watchman has imaginative fantasy at the core of every design. Each hand-painted wallpaper and fabric collection draw inspiration from fairy-tales, Old Hollywood, and tropical themes for intricately off-beat creations. History combines with the modern in this unique take on Chinoiserie.
Company founder Helen Wilson is a Fine Artist turned wallpaper and fabric designer. All of Helen’s work is initially envisioned on canvas and hand-painted in oils. It is then transferred over for digital editing to create a seamless pattern in Photoshop. The designs are digitally printed on non-woven wallpaper and cotton half panama fabric by the highest quality printers in the United Kingdom.
Helen created Witch and Watchman in 2014, following a Fine Arts education at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and previous work as a Fine Artist and graphic designer. She began the company in London, England, then moved Berlin, before finally settling in Los Angeles, California. Her studio is located in the Elysian Valley.
